There are only 5 days till the release of Doctor Strange in Multiverse of Madness, and Marvel fans have been waiting for the sequel to Doctor Strange for the longest week. In a teaser released Sunday morning, Marvel previewed further footage of Captain Carter’s (Hayley Atwell) live-action debut, showing her shield bouncing off numerous walls at what appears to be the Illuminati headquarters.
The Illuminati will feature in the film, according to a supplemental teaser released by Marvel Studios last week. A video of the five-day countdown may be found below. Captain Carter will be the first Marvel Cinematic Universe character to be brought to life in a live-action feature, if the teasers are accurate. One of the film’s antagonists, the multi-tentacled Gargantos, could be the same beast teased during the events of What If…? The first season.

After the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home and the Disney+ series WandaVision, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness takes place. Benedict Cumberbatch’s character, the magician, is forced to confront his dark side. Several new Marvel characters will undoubtedly be introduced, as well as the return of a few existing ones. The film is directed by Sam Raimi, who is best known for directing Tobey Maguire in the original Spider-Man trilogy.
Saudi Arabia has banned Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film starring Benedict Cumberbatch contains an LGBTQ character named America Chavez, who is homosexual in the comics, according to the publication’s sources. The video was also banned by the censor board because homosexuality is illegal in Middle Eastern countries. The Doctor Strange sequel sold more tickets in the first 24 hours of pre-sales than any other 2022 film, including the just released The Batman, which is fantastic news for the film. But, given that it’s based on Marvel’s Doctor Strange, it’ll undoubtedly be a smash hit.
