Individuals traveling to the United States from the UK should deliver a negative Covid-19 test prior to emergency situations following the peak of another Covid variation.
The US became, on Christmas Day, the most recent nation to declare new travel limitations due to the variation spreading in the UK and somewhere else.
Aircraft travelers from the UK will require negative tests within three days of their outing and to give the outcomes to the carrier, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said in a statement.
The office said the request will be effective from Monday.
Airline Carriers should deny boarding to any traveler who doesn’t get a test, the CDC said.
The office said due to travel limitations set up since March, air travel to the US from the UK is now somewhere around 90%.
A weekend ago, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the new variation of Covid appeared to spread more effectively than before ones and was moving quickly through England.
Many nations have since banished departures from the UK.
Mr. Johnson focused on there is “no proof to recommend it is more deadly or causes more serious ailment”, or that immunizations will be less powerful against it.
