The filming of HBO Max’s upcoming Batgirl is now complete. Leslie Grace, the show’s star, confirmed the news in a social media post. Barbara Gordon, the daughter of Gotham City police commissioner James Gordon, is played by Leslie Grace. The filming process in Glasgow, Scotland, has finally come to a close after four months of filming. With a lineup that includes The Batman, Super-Pets, Black Adam, The Flash, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, DC is sure to do well in 2022. Aside from these, Batgirl will debut on HBO Max exclusively. The premiere of Batgirl is set to take place in December 2022.
The trailer will be released around a month before the film is released, as the film will be in post-production when filming is over. The trailers for future films are normally released roughly a month before the film’s debut, so the same may be expected with Batgirl. Leslie Grace posted a photo with the comment “blessed.” Thank you so much for this opportunity. I can’t wait for the rest of the world to see what we’ve created!”
She also shared clips of the fun she had with the crew mentioning how much she loved working, she wrote, ” that is officially a wrap on us out here in Glasgow and I couldn’t let the day pass without saying THANK YOU to every person on this crew who made it all happen.” The actress also left a heartfelt message while revealing some of her favourite memories. She further mentioned, ” I wish I could share but I leave you with these wee lil tender moments of our last week I will hold dear in my heart”.
