Selling Sunset, a Netflix reality show, has been renewed for a fifth season, which will launch on April 22nd. The show is off-the-shelf for another season after the fourth season debuted on Netflix last winter in November 2021. Netflix has released a new trailer for season 5 on April 8 as the release date approaches. Christine Quinn announced the announcement on Instagram, writing, “Selling Sunset Season 5 is out on April 22nd!”
The series is developed by Adam DiVello and follows a group of agents as they manage their personal and professional lives at the Oppenheim Group, a high-end real estate brokerage firm in Los Angeles. The trailer gives us a glimpse into the tumultuous in-house relationships. The teaser shows Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim enjoying their first days of dating in Greece, followed by numerous realtors expressing positive and bad thoughts about the relationship. “I would love it if Chrishell and Jason got married, Christine opines out loud, I was wondering why I wasn’t getting listings, but I was like, oh yeah, it’s because I’m not f***ing my boss,” Mary Fitzgerald commented. The couple has already stated that their relationship is nothing but full of love and respect for each other. Jason has described their relationship as “the happiest and most fulfilling relationship of my life”.
After the breakup between the couples, it has been a had time for everyone. “I’m sad for both of them and obviously, I’m trying to help both of them out, so is Romain. We talk to both of them, neither of them did anything wrong, they’re just on different paths,” Mary said. “We’re there for both of them and we love both of them and we just want them to be happy, and whatever that is, we’re going to support them 100 per cent,” She added.
In season 5, a new broker, Chelsea, has been hired, and Mary is happy in her new role as management assistant. In terms of filming, Mary Fitzgerald announced in December that the show’s production had come to an end. She shared the news on Instagram with a photo from The Oppenheim Group’s headquarters. “A lot of embraces today, since Season 5 is now over!”
