One of Johnny Depp’s buddies broke down when testifying about his relationship with Amber Heard during the defamation lawsuit case launched against her by her former husband. Isaac Baruch has known Johnny Depp since he was a teenager in Florida, and he used to reside in one of Depp’s five Los Angeles penthouses. Given everything that has happened, including the couple’s breakup and Heard accusing Depp of abuse, Amber Heard’s lawyer questioned Isaac Baruch whether he was furious with her client.
Baruch responded, “When? Oh, about the phony pictures in the tabloids and about the fake narrative and the way she trying to got a fraudulent domestic violence claim to extort and blackmail a man? Yeah — that kinda got me frustrated, angry, confused and upset. Which is why I said the best thing for us to do was not talk to each other.“
When he was asked if he was still angry with her, he said, “Oh, you know something. It’s six years, it’s six years. Am I angry anymore? What I am is tired, I want this all to end. For her to go heal, him to go heal. It’s so many people have been affected by this malicious lie that she started and she created, and it’s gone out the door and around the world, and so I can’t even paint anymore. I’ve stopped painting for the last how many years.”
Baruch further added, “I’m not angry at anybody. I want the best for her, for her to take her responsibility, heal and move on. Move on, and for Johnny…his family has been completely wrecked by all of this stuff and it’s not..it’s not fair…it’s not right.”
Depp was a regular of Baruch’s at the Viper Room nightclub, and the “Charlie And The Chocolate Factory” star even offered him a place to stay at his apartment. Baruch testified that he did not see any bruises or injury marks on Heard when he accused Depp of throwing his phone at her during a heated argument in 2016. Heard was not wearing make-up at the time, and Baruch said he did not see any bruises or injury marks on her. When Amber Heard made claims against Johnny Depp and filed for divorce, Isaac Baruch, who was good friends with the pair and socialised with them, said he was taken aback. He later told her that it was best if they didn’t speak to each other.
